This is what you see only one city block behind Ventura Blvd, Old Town Camarillo.
I wonder if/when they will start developing this place.

This is a good firework viewing spot. On 4th of July, I come here with a pair of Guinness'. I can see number of different fireworks from this spot including Oxnard & Camarillo.  About 20 people come to this spot every 4th of July.

I'm not so sure, but people say this is the place where the police fuel their cars.

Did you know that there was a camera on top of the light pole at Old Town Camerillo, Ventura and Arneill?

Camarillo Arco is my favorite gas station.
It's located at 650 Arneill Rd - Arneill & Ponderosa.
In fact, this is the only gas station I use.

Camarillo Arco gives you the best gas price in Camarillo, perhaps the best in Ventura County.
They are hard working people.
The place looks folksy,
I hope they never remodel the place.

They often play 40's swing music on the loud speaker.
They do NOT open all night, they close around 11pm.

They are always busy.
But, if you schedule it right, you can avoid the line.
You know... avoid rush hours (people coming home from work), and etc...

Remodeling work on Chinese Restaurant and the karate place is now completed.
I wonder if Augusta's will come back to the same building after that construction.
We shall see.
I think Thunderbird Travel will get a makeover pretty soon.
I’ll take some pictures of Thunderbird Travel next time I drive by. (before they get fixed up).
